Our Company
BCM Solutions Pty Ltd was incorporated in January 2007 to develop enterprise-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) solutions to address known gaps in the BCM marketplace. A basic principle of the company is that all solutions must be powerful, flexible and simple to use.
The company’s directors, Bryan McAtee and Scott Lansley, have more than 40 years of practical BCM experience and are well recognised in the Australian financial services BCM marketplace, who recognised and responded to a need for effective BCM software and independently accredited training.
Since being formed, the company has established strategic relationships with Microsoft and The Institute of Risk Management. Both organisations are enthusiastic and positive in their support of BCM Solutions activities.
Bryan McAtee
Bryan McAtee is a Director of BCM Solutions. Bryan is regarded as one of the world’s leading Business Continuity Management (BCM) practitioners due to the successful and practical implementation of BCM solutions in a wide range of industries both in Australia and many overseas countries, and proven capability to respond to real events.
During his 20-year BCM career, Bryan has also acquired a senior management perspective and knows “first-hand” the BCM requirements of many of Australia’s major organisations.
Bryan has worked internationally in such diverse organisations as California Government, Umgeni Water Authority, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Abu Dhabi Gas, Liberty Life and QData to mention a few, and over the last 10 years in Australia has held positions as Global Head of BCM (National Australia Bank), Executive Manager, BCM (Commonwealth Bank of Australia), Head of IT Risk (Suncorp).
Because of his unique skills and background, Bryan receives regular invitations to consult and present at Australian and overseas events.
Since forming BCM Solutions in January 2007, Bryan has co-designed the BCM Solutions software solution and training course, and delivered training content and consulting services to some of Australia’s largest companies.
Scott Lansley
Scott Lansley is a director of BCM Solutions. Scott has extensive IT experience spanning various technical and management roles in a wide variety of industries spanning 17 years. Since 2001, Scott has provided independent consultancy services to various financial institutions and other large enterprises.
Over the last ten years, Scott has specialised in the delivery of premium quality Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management (BCM) solutions, earning a reputation as one of the industry’s leading mentoring professionals.
Scott has provided strategic BCM framework support to several prominent financial institutions in the implementation of world class continuity outcomes, and has designed and coordinated crisis management simulation exercises for executive management teams.
Some of the organisations Scott has provided services to include Orica, Pioneer Construction Materials, Legal Aid Commission (NSW), Munich Reinsurance, Philips, Capral Aluminium, Warman Australia, Atos Origin, Suncorp, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, QBE, Bank of New Zealand, Westpac and ANZ bank.
Scott has presented at various conferences and industry forums around the world and has rare and proven capability through successful response to live events.
